Dromeus is the ancient Greek word for runner, and also describes cute creatures like the Velociraptors from Jurassic Park. Dromeus is written by Christian Langenegger and Mark Melnykowycz, two runners currently based in Switzerland. Christian is an expert in Germanic studies and Mark is a Doktor of Science.
Two of the most lasting things the ancient Greeks left us with were Western philosophy and the Olympic games. Thought and sport. This blog is our tribute to running and philosophy. We write about running, the style of going into the future with confidence, and the fun of legs freely moving over the Earth. We want to convey our enjoyment of running to an interested audience and by doing so hopefully pass on the flame of pleasure and self-satisfaction that is to be found in one of humankind’s most natural activities – running.
